Ash Wednesday Prayer and Reflection - Our Lenten journey begins with the celebration of Ash Wednesday on February 22. You are invited to begin the Lenten season by stopping by the church anytime between 7 and 9 AM for a time of self reflection, prayer and the imposition of ashes. A reflection guide will be available to assist you in your prayer time. If your mornings are busy and an evening service works better in your schedule, our sister congregation, Bloomingrove Reformed, will be having a service at 7 PM on Ash Wednesday. Please see Pastor Kerri if you have any questions.

"I AM ...." Ecumenical Lenten Wednesdays - You are invited to join the journey through the season of Lent with our local ecumenical partners, Bloomingrove, Sacred Heart, St. Jude's and St. Michael's Roman Catholic and St. Timothy's Lutheran churches. Each service will begin at 7 PM and will be followed by a time of fellowship. This year we will focus on Jesus? "I am" statements and exploring the titles of Jesus.
- On Wednesday, February 29 we will worship at Sacred Heart and hear Jesus say "I Am the Bread of Life."
- Wednesday, March 7 takes us to St. Jude's where we will listen to the words of Jesus as he proclaims "I am the Vine."
- On Wednesday, March 14, we will visit St. Michael's and hear the proclamation that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
- We will host the service on March 21, and hear the voice of Jesus say, "I am the light of the world."
- We will conclude our journey on Wednesday, March 28 at St. Timothy's and listen as Jesus reminds us that we are the salt of the earth and the light of the world.
A freewill offering will be taken at each service to support the ministry of Bethany at Unity House. They offer homeless or needy individuals from Troy and the surrounding communities a daytime opportunity for shelter, food, and referral, if desired, to any human service resource.

You're no longer wandering exiles. This
kingdom of faith is now your home country. You're no longer strangers
or outsiders. You belong here, with as much right to the name Christian
as anyone. God is building a home. He's using us all irrespective of
how we got here in what he is building. He used the apostles and
prophets for the foundation. Now he's using you, fitting you in brick
by brick, stone by stone, with Christ Jesus as the cornerstone that
holds all the parts together. We see it taking shape day after day a
holy temple built by God, all of us built into it, a temple in which
God is quite at home. Ephesians 2:19-22
